On the 17th of January I received two very special deliveries!!
The first one was a package from Perry miniatures which i had been waiting for for a very long time. First the order was never received and then it was posted out swiftly after reordering on the 31st December by Perrys. The reason It didnt arrive until then was because the local post office in all its wisdom had decided it was to dangerous to deliver anything heavier than a piece of paper. So I impatiently had to wait for my reinforcements until the life threatening, hazardous snow had thawed out enough for the intrepid posty to make his way safely up my path. So finally on Sunday the 17th the parcel arrived. Sadly i wasnt in at the time so had to wait until the next day to pick up my goodies....
The second package is even more special and i have waited even longer for this one, roughly nine months!! Baby Grace was born at 1547 weighing in at a slight 6lb 7. She was born standing up and gorgeous if I may say so myself. she must take after her mum..
The most important figure I received in my order was this little chap. Now all I need to do is get the other little one to sleep so I can slap on some paint!
Now I can finally crack on with my first Takeda command base, which will be finished by the weekend. hopefully.....
Whilst I was waiting for my order I managed to finish another commission this time a regiment of 12 Moss troopers, these are fantastic sculpts and a pleasure to paint.
Oooooh... Congratulations!
